During my studies, I completed specific courses on Neuromarketing, Web Marketing and Strategic Communication, learning how to communicate very simply and effectively, putting myself in other people’s shoes without losing the focus on my communication goal.
As organiser of the Università Fuori Orario programme for the University of Bologna, I gained valuable experience in communication, both online and offline. In less than two years, the project has reached more than 5000 fans on Facebook, 2000 subscribers to the newsletter, and many followers on multiple social networks. We also produced a variety of printed materials, ranging from flyers to posters, from bookmarks to little brochures. I took part in the copywriting of these promotional materials and planned their quantities, distribution and timing. Using the default content management system of the University, I also designed and maintained the project website.
In 2012-13, for the Emilia Romagna Theatre Foundation (ERT), I supported the design and implementation of the communication strategy, for the project Il ratto d’Europa and for the different events that it comprised. I assisted the area manager in taking decisions on promotional material (quantity and timing); I handled the relations with graphic designers and printing companies. I supervised the distribution of promotional material concerning the project and I produced articles and press releases.
In 2011, I was a trainee at the European Commission in Brussels, at the Culture and Education DG, in the Communication Unit, where I designed and implemented the social media strategy for the youth mobility programme Youth on the move. I also wrote and translated articles and reports, and helped to promote the Festival of Europe (Florence, May 2011).
